Any company’s commitment to any items sold by or with the assistance of BCS is limited to their policies and warranties.

 

WARRANTY POLICY

Labor Warranty:

All Labor is warrantied for 15 days on hardware related problems but does not cover surge related problems since these can often lead to other issues that do not show up for a while unless all possible damaged items are replaced at the same time.

All Labor is warrantied for 5 days on software related problems but does not cover the removal of or problems caused by computer viruses, spyware, or malware of any kind (unless the computer has been wiped clean and reloaded some infections can hide very well in a system or be completely new and the ways to remove them not fully developed/researched yet).  Software Labor can be hard to put a time limit on depending on what the problem is but the above time limit of 5 days is our standard operating policy.  With that being said, please contact us with any software issues you are having, each problem will be addressed on a case by case bases….such as have you even turned the computer on during the following 5 days we worked on it; are you having a problem that you have no idea how it came to happen and need BCS to check it out; etc.  In short, we understand “life happens” and will gladly work with you to resolve your problems in a complete and timely manner.

 

Item Warranty:

All item(s) (does not include name brand computer(s), mobile devices(s), smart device(s), or any other unserviceable device) sold by Ben’s Computer Services have a 10 day DOA warranty only unless other wise stated. All name brand computer system(s), mobile device(s), smart device(s), and any other unserviceable device refunds/warranties are handled thru their respective manufacturer’s policies. You are required to keep all boxes, instructions, packaging, etc for the entire length of your item(s) warranty. Any problems you may have with your item(s) must be brought to our attention immediately and we will happily assist you with contacting the developer/manufacturer if needed. If our help/support is required our standard labor rates will apply.

 

Warranty Does NOT Cover:

Warranty does not cover damage caused by electrical problems, ESD, lightning, flood, fire, tornadoes, or any other natural disaster. Physical damages due to abuse, neglect, failure to perform preventative maintenance, or mishandling of equipment are not covered by our standard or extended warranties. Accidental damage, theft, or cosmetic damages are not covered by our warranty.

Warranty does not cover software problems due to customer changes to setup loading third party software that does not function properly or is incompatible with your system. Warranty does not cover the removal of or problems caused by computer viruses, spyware, or malware of any kind.

Warranty does not include reloading or correcting problems with software including the operating system. These are chargeable repairs and will be handled under standard operational procedures.

We cannot be held liable for loss of customer’s data for any reason. We recommend the customer perform backups to any critical data on a regular basis.

 

 

RETURN POLICY

Exchanges – We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

All item(s) (does not include name brand computer(s), mobile devices(s), smart device(s), or any other unserviceable device) sold by Ben’s Computer Services have a 10 day DOA warranty only unless other wise stated and can be exchanged if needed. All name brand computer system(s), mobile device(s), smart device(s), and any other unserviceable device refunds/warranties are handled thru their respective manufacturer’s policies. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all original contents. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Opened software cannot be returned for any reason to BCS.

Special order item(s) that have been ordered for proprietary needs/systems cannot be returned for any reason to BCS, please consult the developer/manufacturer for refunds/exchanges.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
