Remote Support
Please call/txt (256) 566-5954 to start your remote support session. We are available 10:00am to 10:00pm CST seven days a week. After hours and holiday remote support is available if needed. However, if you do not reach a technician please leave us a message or contact us by email and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Remote Support is $65.00 an hour, minimum fee is $32.50 and you will not be charged for non-priority* scan times when we are repairing malware issues. Payment is due at the end of the job unless prior arrangements have been made. We take PayPal and all major credit cards, checks are no longer accepted. We are NOT responsible for any downtime, financial losses, or your data in any way form or fashion. We will take every precaution possible to protect your data but you should always have both hot and cold** backups available if any data restoration is required. If we ask you to provide us with hardware information please do not guess on model numbers, etc. It is critical you provide us with the proper information so we can install the correct driver for your hardware. Do not hesitate to ask us for help in locating any information that we ask for if you require it. Not all problems can be fixed without your factory restore discs or operating system install disc (if your device requires an operating system reinstall we will assist you by phone until the device can connect to the internet again). It is important that you keep your hands off the mouse, keyboard, and/or touchscreen while we are working, your commands could combine with ours and produce some unwanted results for which we cannot be held responsible. We will work as quickly and as efficiently as possible but not all device problems can be fixed fast or in a single work session.
*Non-priority jobs do not require us to focus on just that one device.
**Hot and Cold Backups refer to the two main types of backups. "Hot" Backups are constantly connected backups such as an external USB Drive, NAS Box, or a cloud based backup. "Cold" Backups are normally done via 2 devices that you keep unplugged from the system and never plug in at the same time (rotate the devices for each backup) such as external USB Flash Drives or external HDD/SSDs. While "Hot" Backups are the easiest, "Cold" Backups provide the best defense against ransomware type attacks.
